The Mare Island Technology Academy Education Association, or MITAEA, was founded in 2007 when teachers and staff came together to advocate for their students, their classrooms, and their position as stakeholders at Mare Island Technology Academy.  MITAEA members include Teachers, Para-Professionals, and the Educational Support Staff that work to create a positive learning environment for all of MITA’s students.  MITAEA is proudly a part of the California Teacher’s Association.
